Contract: Permanent, Part Time

Hours of work:  32 hours per week (Wednesday to Saturday roster)

Location: SPCA Queenstown Op Shop 

The position will require strong leadership with a focus on driving revenue through excellence in customer service. 

The role will be busy, challenging and rewarding and fun!

You will be responsible for the leadership of our dedicated volunteer team, customer service and daily retail operations. This includes a high standard of customer service, online sales, stock management, visual merchandising and general administration. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a positive attitude. You will have good attention to detail, strong merchant skills, the ability to visual merchandise and present a retail shop to a high standard with the customer experience paramount in decision making.

Skills and abilities 

· Retail leadership experience, second hand retail would be an advantage, however not essential

· Have excellent communication and customer service skills, be solutions focused with friendly and a positive can-do attitude.

· Passionate about online selling and service to create a seamless customer journey

· Have proven ability to recruit, train and lead a high performing team.

· Be a self-motivated team player, who is enthusiastic and passionate about animal welfare.

· Demonstrate empathy and resilience.

· Excellent organisation skills and be able to prioritise and effectively manage workloads

· Strong administration, computer skills and visual merchandising experience.
